Now, please do not be fooled by those leaders who say they will protect this country. Do not be fooled, for this country will not be protected if your leaders do not respect life. Those leaders who are not for life will not protect this country; their hearts are cold and they are disobeying God.  Today, I ask that you fast and pray so more choose life instead of death upon your soul. I see many joining hands with the terrorists because they have so much hate in their hearts. I see many leaders who are not obeying God’s laws. If man continues to reject God, they will see fire and mass destruction. If world leaders do not seek God’s guidance, they will see total chaos and much darkness. #2686

Pray for the conversion of your country. Pray for peace in the world. Pray for political leaders, for many are not listening to God. Many are walking alone because they truly do not know God.  My daughter, My heart is sad because so many of my children are not listening to God. Many are giving in to Satan’s evil ways when they do not take a stand for life.

America, I am warning you, there will be terrible consequences if you do not protect the right of the unborn. Listen and obey, obey God’s Commandments. Do not listen to the world, for the world is truly crucifying my Son each time an abortion is performed. It is not your choice who should live and who should die. Each abortion draws you closer to a terrible punishment upon this world.

The wrath of God is at hand, so please, please dear children, pray more. Pray that more will repent before it’s too late. Pray that more will examine their conscience and do what is right. It is time now for Catholics to obey Church teaching. It is time for all Priests to let go of fear and take a stand for life. This world needs to be fed the truth, so please be true apostles and live, live your Catholic faith.

Now, please do not be fooled by those leaders who say they will protect this country. Do not be fooled, for this country will not be protected if your leaders do not respect life. This message must be made known, for many deny that life begins at conception. Many deny that abortion is the greatest sin in this world.

Today, is a day of prayer, so please gather and pray, pray from your hearts. Gather and pray and ask all the Holy Angels and Saints to intercede for you. Go forth now, just as the Saints, and live and defend the Gospel. Amen.

 1Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. 2He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. 3And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’

 4″For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care about men, 5yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually wear me out with her coming!’ “

 6And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Jesus told us to pray without growing weary. If we get weary and let our prayer down, we are going to lose. But if by the strength of God we can continue to pray, then we will remain faithful, then we will win the battle. This is a battle for souls, but people have lost that understanding because we want money and other things, and that has become more important than human souls.
 
Now, having said that, each one of us still has to remain faithful, not only in prayer but in the way that we live our lives. In a little over a week, we all have to go to the polling place and we have to make a choice.

And let us make no mistake; if we willfully vote for someone who is publicly acknowledged as being in favor of things that are intrinsically evil, it is a mortal sin. We can no longer make claims like, “Well, my family has always voted this way so I have to do the same.” That is a bunch of nonsense! We have to vote for people who want to bring about a true good. And we have to use our minds; we cannot just mindlessly walk in and say, “Well, this is the way that I’ve always voted. I don’t know what anybody stands for, but I’ll just vote this way because I always have.” We need to look things up, we need to find out where people stand, and we need to vote with our conscience.

That, again, has become a problem these days. We have many priests who have been telling people, “Just do whatever your conscience tells you.” That is true – provided that your conscience is well formed. The formation of conscience has to come from the Lord, that is, by looking at the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and of His Church and forming our consciences in accordance with those truths. Conscience does not mean doing whatever I feel; “conscience” means doing what is right. That means we cannot – ever or in any circumstance – uphold something that is intrinsically evil. And so I highly recommend to you to do a little bit of study in the next week, to look at the candidates (both on the national level and on the local level in your particular ward) and find out what they stand for. If they are in favor of anything that is intrinsically evil – abortion, euthanasia, fetal stem cell research, human cloning, or homosexual “marriage” – we cannot vote for these people because they are in favor of things that are completely contrary to the law of God.
 
We must remain faithful, whether it is convenient or inconvenient. In the midst of all the political correctness, all the pressures that are applied from so many areas, we have an obligation in all things to remain faithful to Jesus Christ. The time has come. Regardless of the political situation and regardless of the world situation, we must remain faithful.

We must pray and we must realize that our faith is going to be tested, as it has never been before. It begins with simple things, like “Are we going to choose evil or are  we going to choose good?” If we are not even able to pass the most simple test that is completely black-and-white, good-or-evil (there is not an in-between when it comes to such things), then how do we think we are going to remain faithful as things progress?

Right now the Lord is looking at our hearts, and He is going to test them to see if we will remain faithful to Him. Whether it is in the voting booth, in the workplace, in our families, on the streets, or in front of the Blessed Sacrament, He is going to try us, He is going to test us. He is going to see if we will remain faithful to what we have been taught from our infancy. Remain faithful in the midst of the trials and difficulties and pray always without wearying because right now that is our only hope to save our own souls and to be able to save as many as we can. We will not turn back the hand of God any longer – the day has come – now our only hope is to save as many as we can.

My daughter, God will continue to open new doors, so be at peace. Be at peace so that you continue to shine your love of knowing Jesus. Persecution is thirst for your soul, so continue to do what God and I are asking of you.

My message at Fatima was that my children must repent and turn to God. If man does not understand these messages, then they are not living the Gospel. All must take heed to the Gospel. All must repent and turn to God. To repent, one must honor and obey God. One must live the Fatima message if they truly want to build their relationship with Jesus. Man must wake up and begin to live, live these messages. All must let go of fear, for these messages are the Fatima message. These messages are tools to help my children so more grow in their faith.

If my children continue to ignore the Gospel, then many more will perish. They will see the fire of hell. I say to my children, sin exists and it is truly, truly darkening the world. Many people live in sin because they are refusing to examine their conscience. Many are not obeying God’s Commandments because they are refusing to live pure and holy lives. I have been warning my children for some time now, yet many mock and laugh at these messages. Many pick and choose which Commandments to obey. Many turn to the world for answers, instead of confiding in God. Prayer and penance are truly needed, for so many are on the wrong path.

Today, I am asking for more prayer. Today, I am asking that each of you pray, pray with me today. The time is drawing closer, so please wake up and respond to all that I am teaching you. Wake up and stay awake, for there is not much time for me to repeat myself. This time will soon end, so begin today by opening your hearts so that God can direct you on this earth. Amen.

 

Catechism of the Catholic Church

2487 Every offense committed against justice and truth entails the duty of reparation, even if its author has been forgiven. When it is impossible publicly to make reparation for a wrong, it must be made secretly. If someone who has suffered harm cannot be directly compensated, he must be given moral satisfaction in the name of charity. This duty of reparation also concerns offenses against another’s reputation. This reparation, moral and sometimes material, must be evaluated in terms of the extent of the damage inflicted. It obliges in conscience.

 

The Gospel of John 21:18-19

 

Jesus said, “Feed my sheep. 18 I tell you the truth, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” 19Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Friday May 13, 2005 Homily by Fr. Robert Altier   Our Lady of Fatima

 

We recall the great events that took place in Fatima, Portugal back in 1917 as Our Lady appeared to these three little children. She revealed to them several secrets, including, of course, the Second World War and some of the events that would take place as we have only in the last few years had revealed as part of that Third Secret – the things that would take place with the shooting of the Holy Father and the martyrdom of many others.

 

So as these events that Our Lady spoke of continue to unfold, we have to look even further at what it is that she asked for. She asked that there would be reparation on the First Saturdays for all of the crimes against her Immaculate Heart. She asked that we would do penance and that we would pray the Rosary. It is precisely these things that are needed more than anything in our world today. Of all the things that we can get ourselves involved in, there is nothing more important than prayer and penance. It is only this that is going to bring about a change.

 

I think Pope John Paul II had demonstrated this very clearly toward the end of his life when he accepted the intense sufferings that God sent him. He showed all of us the dignity of a suffering human being. Sister Lucia did something that was very similar as she just suffered in silence for so many years, showing us once again what it means when Our Lord looks at each one of us as He did at Peter in the Gospel reading today and said, Do you love Me? Then when we say, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love You,” the question is what we are going to do with that. Love, as we know, is demonstrated only in suffering; it is only when we are willing to accept the Cross.

 

As it said at the end of the Gospel reading when Jesus explained to Peter what was going to happen to him when he got older, Saint John says: This was to signify the kind of death by which he was to glorify God. Now we would look at it and say, “How can that glorify God? It is such an unjust thing!”

 

But it is precisely because he accepted it and he embraced it and he gave it all to God, and the Lord was glorified in that. So too now for us, to be able to look at this and remember that in that Third Secret as the angel stood with his sword and cried out to the earth, Penance! Penance! Penance! those are the only words that are in that part of the Third Secret that has been revealed. Penance! Penance! Penance! This is what the world needs: People who are willing to accept their share of the Cross, and by this means to glorify God; people who are willing to offer to God their suffering, to be able to unite that with Our Lord’s suffering, and in this way to demonstrate their love.

 

As Our Lady calls us to prayer and penance, she is asking us also to be able to be like her Son, to suffer even unjustly, to forgive the people who cause the suffering, to be willing to offer it all to God, to give Him glory.
